Wool pellets are usually fairly new to the gardeners we work with, so we created this handy guide to help you out, whatever your setup looks like.
| Situation | Directions |
|---|---|
| New potting mix | Mix in ½ cup per gallon of soil (1 lb covers approx. a 4'×8' garden bed) |
| Larger area | Till in at 2–3% of volume |
| Small pots | 1 pellet per inch of pot diameter (for pots less than 10" in diameter) |
| Existing plants | Sprinkle pellets around the base of the plant and press into soil |
| Seed starting | 1 pellet per block - use instead of peat moss |
